It’s the most wonderful time of the year! With Halloween approaching, it’s a reminder that we’re only two shopping months away from Christmas and one month away from Black Friday. A day of deals, delight and debauchery, Record Store Day is getting into the mix this year with some notable very cool exclusives that will be available for 24 hours only.

If you can’t wait to see Run the Jewels at our Go Snow Show on December 3, Killer Mike and El-P will be releasing an exclusive Run the Jewels single version of their track “Chase Me” with Danger Mouse and Big Boi from the Baby Driver soundtrack. This piece will be limited to 2,000 copies, so you may want to plan on running your jewels early and often.

J. Dilla fans will also find something special in the form of two volume set of unreleased Dilla beats, Delights. The two collections, one on green vinyl and the other on purple, will benefit Dilla’s two daughters, who will be featured on their cover arts.

The highest profile release comes from former Wings member Sir Paul McCartney who brings us two re-recordings of his post-Beatles seasonal standard “Wonderful Christmastime” on red and green vinyl, this time backed by The Roots. The b-side of the red will feature a live Norah Jones recording of “Peace”, while the green vinyl b-side boasts The Decemberists’ take on “Jesus Christ.”

Rounding out the hip-hop side of things are a double-LP picture disc of Gorillaz‘s latest Humanz, and – for the first time ever on vinyl – Three 6 Mafia‘s Chpt. 2, just in time for it’s 20th anniversary.
