After debuting a pair of new songs from their forthcoming album High as Hope earlier this spring, Florence + The Machine had stateside fans clamoring for the band’s first late night appearance, and the celebrated ensemble did not disappoint with last night’s dramatic performance of “Hunger” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Framed by a backdrop of pink flowers and a dimmed, rosy-hued light, vocalist and gown enthusiast Florence Welch put every facet of her incredible vocal range on display. Balletically leaping from the stage and twirling for an enraptured audience, Welch perfectly captured the anthemic new song’s theatrical heft.

High as Hope arrives June 29th, and you can hear “Hunger” right now on the Modern Alternative Channel.

– Speaking of late-night goodness, Beach House performed a foggy “Drunk in LA” on Kimmel.

– If ya missed it, Go 96.3 favs CHVRCHES did a stint on Fallon earlier this week.

– Alt-rock pioneers Nine Inch Nails have returned with a new track: “God Break Down the Door.”

– Rising alt-pop star Billie Eilish will be blessing us with her own Beats1 radio show!
