It’s not every day a cherished Minnesota restaurant gets a visit from a Japanese legend, but that’s what happened yesterday when wrestling icon The Great Sasuke stopped by Bar Luchador for some tremendous tacos.
In town for a match at F1rst Wrestling’s sold-out Wrestlepalooza event this weekend at First Avenue where he faces fan favorite Shane Strickland in a first-time-ever dream match (at the same event we reported on where actor David Arquette will take on Colt Cabana) Sasuke’s Minnesota experience is off to a great start as he enjoyed some of Bar Luchador’s famous pork tacos.
Sasuke’s known for being one of wrestling’s all time great innovators and high-flyers, influencing generations of light-heavyweights and cruiserweights around the world, as well as competing in one of WWF‘s most memorable matches of the 90s in a showdown with Taka Michinoku at 1997’s Canadian Stampede.
Sasuke seems to have enjoyed the meal, commenting on Bar Luchador’s Instagram “Great taste (^^)b Thank-you very very very much (^^)v.”
In addition to Sasuke performing, Saturday’s show will also feature local hip-hop favorites Dimitry Killstorm, Metasota, Haphduzn and DJ Snuggles.
