This morning, Ben, Dana & Giselle discussed our HIDDEN GEMS of the State Fair, and we wanted to make sure to upload the list, so you wouldn’t forget or miss out. What’s that dish, item or attraction you absolutely LOVE, but not a lot of people know about? Be sure to share it in the comments below, or let us know on social media!

Ben: Hot Dish on a Stick from Ole and Lena’s. Swedish meatballs and tater tots on a stick, dipped in corn dog batter, then deep fried, with a side of beefy cream of mushroom dipping sauce.

Dana: Short Beer Lines. Unless you’re looking for specialty or themed beer, don’t go to the beer tent. Instead, go to any other drink or food spot that just happens to have beer, and load up. Then go down the Giant Slide after you’ve had a few.

Giselle: Smoked Gouda Nachos from Shanghaied Henri’s (located conveniently next to the Go Radio booth). Tortilla chips smothered in creamy, smoky cheese and pulled pork, with an extra side of cheese, making it the perfect chip-to-topping ratio. Great for sharing (or don’t).
