We have a big potluck planned in the office today and Ben, Dana and Anna are making meatballs! Who doesn’t love meatballs? We felt the pressure after Giselle signed up to make her famous buffalo chicken dip but we showed up this morning…and we aren’t so sure she’s finished it quite yet (or at all). We talked about all the prep you’ve got to do for this first snow, cuffing season, and the weekend. Thanks for waking up with Ben, Dana and Giselle!

6:15 Intern Anna’s Green Thumb

A few months back, Intern Anna received an orchid from the team that had these beautiful blooming flowers on it. Well, it turns out those flowers were fake, growing out of thin air, literally! She felt pretty dumb watering a fake plant, but it happens to everyone, right?

6:30 Short Days Survival

Ben is feeling down with all the short days, and we wanted to find out the best ways to combat the winter time blues. Dana’s suggestion (which we should all take advantage of) is to head over to the Water Park of America for some fun indoor water slide bonding. Snagging a light and turning on the heater (sand optional) might be the best option. If all else fails, vacation!

6:50 The Trend

Snow is coming people! Prepare yourself with a window scrapper, and get out those long puffy coats. Winter is upon us. While it’s snowing though, check out the biggest movie of the fall out this weekend, the prequel to Harry Potter: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Finally, the Vikings are having a tough week after letting go of Blair Walsh and will be up against the Cardinals this weekend.

7:15 Cuffing Season

Cuffing season is here and the trading deadline is right around the corner (November 30th apparently). What is cuffing you ask? Cuffing is the act of getting together with someone for the holiday season and to stay warm throughout the long winter. Maybe you don’t want all those questions from aunt and uncles about who you’re dating or when you might be getting married. It’s a mutual understanding that crock pots, Netflix, and chilling is all included.

7:30 $1000 Minute

Anna played her way through Friday morning’s game of $1000 Minute and took home some cash for the weekend.

8:15 Get To Know

The Boy Meets World house is up for sale (only a measly 1.6 million) and we are looking to invest. Just kidding! We listed the best television and movie houses we knew. Who doesn’t want to live int the Clueless mansion? Everyone loves the Full and Fuller House in San Fran, but the best place is Dawson’s bedroom from Dawson’s Creek. JEALOUS!

8:30 Giselle surviving the winter

We want Giselle to make sure that her life insurance is up-to-date, because Giselle hasn’t been through a Minnesota winter in a while. Make sure that the beneficiaries are Ben and Dana too. She learned everything she needs to stock up in her car, just in case she gets stranded: energy bars, empty coffee cans for peeing, anti-freeze and vodka. A lot of vodka.

9:30 Foodie Friday: Crisp and Greens

Welcome a really healthy and really yummy Crisp and Green. They aren’t even open yet, but their first location is opening on Monday in Wayzata. Everything is local, everything is fresh, and there is none of that frozen stuff like the other guys have.

Rap Up

Don’t forget the Daily Rap Up with Chaz Kangas (@chazraps) who freestyles a secret word and recaps everything we talked about previously in the show.
