The happiest news coming out of this past weekend’s Lollapalooza in Chicago is confirmation that the city’s favorite sons are in harmony again. That’s right, during his headline performance, Chance the Rapper brought out longtime collaborator Vic Mensa to turn the city completely up.
Rumors of a falling out between the two stemmed from a curiously cropped and scratched Instagram photo that could be read as a veiled diss. That’s all in the past now as the two friends displayed mutual zeal as they performed their 2013 track “Cocoa Butter Kisses” (from Chance’s Acid Rap) and “Say I Didn’t” from Vic’s recently released The Autobiography.
Vic further confirmed it’s all good in his camp with Chance with a touching Instagram post after their performance.
