What began as a regular day at Michele Clark High School yesterday quickly became anything but, as Mr. The Rapper hosted an all-school assembly. There, Chicago’s favorite son announced local supermarket chain Jewel-Osco would be committing one million dollars to his New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund through his Social Works organization. Not just for Michele Clark’s students, this donation benefits all of Chicago’s public schools.
