Alert! This is not a drill!

Eminem has surprised fans with an entirely new album! It’s Kamikaze, whose License to Ill cover art suggest it’s Eminem going back to roots.

His first album since 2017’s Revival, Em openly laments that album’s poor reception on “Fall,” and seems poised to make Kamikaze essentially the anti-Revival in terms of just being pure bars with no attempt as self-introspection. Em sharing the album on Twitter with the note “Tried not to overthink this one” suggests he’s trying to make this the closest thing he can to a white label underground release.

Kamikaze features Joyner Lucas, Royce Da 5’9″, Go Show alumni Jessie Reyez and Go friend Paul Rosenberg. It also feature the theme song from the forthcoming comic book movie Venom.
