One week after their surprise Roswell-themed Live EP, Foo Fighters return with another vintage gem from the Foo Files! Behold, the EP titled 01070725 featuring a series of circa-2007 covers and live cuts.

Particularly fun is their cover of Dead Kennedys “Holiday in Cambodia” featuring System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian on vocals, delivered in front of an unsuspecting crowd at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards (the year of the Britney breakdown for those keeping score at home, but we at Go would like to remind you that correlation does not necessarily equal causation.)

There’s also covers of The Arcade Fire and a rare Japanese b-side. Given that these releases are building up to the 25th anniversary of their debut album next year, we’ll have a lot to fight off our Foo for quite a while!
