Of all the things Wisconsin is famous for, 70’s horror fans may know it best for the 1975 film The Giant Spider Invasion. Directed by two-time Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate William “Bill” Rebane (Monster-A-Go-Go, Troma’s Capture of Bigfoot and Croaked: Frog Monster From Hell), the eight-legged menace is returning to theaters nationwide for two nights this month, but it isn’t coming alone.

Minnesota’s favorite sons – Rifftrax will be providing the live wisecracks and observations live from Nashville’s Belcourt Theater! But local fans won’t need to travel to Nashville to see the Mystery Science Theater 3000 alumni provide the laughs along with the film. Fathom Events is simulcasting their take on the Midwest classic in select Minnesota theaters as well!
