Every Wednesday at 10am, Go Radio will be taking you behind the curtain at the biggest concerts and events in the Twin Cities and bringing you exclusive, one-on-one interviews with your favorite artists, creatives, and celebrities. Let’s Go Backstage!
Indie-pop singer-songwriter Amy Shark is one of the many incredibly talented artists emerging from Australia over the last few years. With a raw, emotional vulnerability and an enchanting voice, Shark has captivated audiences all over the world. Her single “Adore” catapulted her to viral success, and Shark’s follow-up album Love Monster, released earlier this year, further delivers on the promise of her first hit.
We caught up with Amy during her recent visit to our Go Garage to talk about her fashion inspirations, her favorite slow jams, up-and-coming artists she’s got her eye on (Lord Huron and Grandson), and what it was like to work with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182.
