When Minneapolis-born singer, songwriter and producer Ness Nite calls herself “The future of music,” she’s not being egotistical, and she’s sure as hell not wrong, either. Her hybrid songwriting blends elements of R&B, indie-pop, electronic music and hip-hop in an effortless way that makes “genre” look like like something we should have left back in 2017.
