Each weekday in February, Go 95.3 looks back at an important figure in black history.
Today we feature Shock G one of hip-hop’s most consistently innovative and influential all-around artists. Initially rising to fame as the don of Digital Underground – serving dual roles as himself and member Humpty Hump, Shock G helped bring the world immortal hits like “The Humpty Dance” and “Same Song,” which included the very first recorded 2Pac verse ever! Shock contributed significantly to Pac’s first two albums and also worked extensively with everyone from Prince to Murs. Shock most recently appeared voicing himself in the 2Pac biopic All Eyez On Me.
