On Friday evening, Hurricane Harvey hit ground in Texas. The Category 4 storm was the worst natural disaster to strike the United States since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Over the course of several days, Harvey has devastated the Gulf Coast region with high winds and torrential flooding, destroying countless homes and stranding their residents in the process. The city of Houston has been hit especially hard, with tens of thousands of residents displaced.

GoMN stands with the victims of Harvey, and our hearts go out to those who have lost their lives and homes in this incredible tragedy.

Please, consider joining us and donating to the following aid organizations that are providing relief to the Gulf Coast right now:

The American Red Cross

The Salvation Army

Lutheran World Relief

Mayor’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, housed at the Greater Houston Community Foundation

United Way of Greater Houston
