Go 96.3’s Mornings with Ben, Dana & Giselle hosted U2 bassist Adam Clayton ahead of their massive show tonight at US Bank Stadium. Alt-rock king Beck is the opening act.

The concert is part of their tour marking the 30th anniversary of their landmark album, The Joshua Tree. With hits “With or Without You,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” and “Where the Streets Have No Name,” the record pushed them to rock’s highest ranks.

Ben and Dana talked to Clayton about becoming a dad at 57, the origins of new single “You’re the Best Thing About Me,” revisiting their classic album, and the merits of being the bass player.
