Yesterday was a big day for J. Cole fans. After the out-of-nowhere announcement of a surprise event that evening at New York‘s Gramercy Theater where there were no phones or even bags allowed, fans swarmed in to find a surprise J. Cole concert, including Cole playing the entirety of his new 12-track album K.O.D. which is set to drop this Friday, April 20.

Allegedly recorded in a mere two weeks, K.O.D. reportedly has three different subtitles. The acronym is said to mean “Kidz on Drugz,” “King Overdose” and “Kill Our Demonz.”

K.O.D. is Cole’s first full-length release since 2016’s 4 Your Eyez Only. Tonight, London gets their taste of K.O.D. No word on a Minneapolis/St. Paul date yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
