We’ve heard rumblings ever since Coloring Book that a Chance the Rapper/Kanye West collaborative album was somewhere in development hell, but now it looks like it might really be coming down the pipeline!
Kanye appeared last night in his hometown of Chicago at Chance’s Open Mike event to make the announcement that their collaborative album Good Ass Job is on the way.
Of course, Chance first announced he and Kanye were working on a Good Ass Job mixtape back in 2016, the title of which stems from Chance’s Standom for Ye as Kanye-devotees know Good Ass Job was the original title of 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Ye’s been hinting at forthcoming albums quite a bit lately, most prominently teasing a new album titled YANDHI dropping on September 29. Kanye will also be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live‘s season premiere that same day.
There’s also no indication whether these projects will be full-fledged albums or unfinished seven-track drops like his weekly series of albums earlier this summer.
