Today sees the release of Bobby Raps’ Mark and it’s being called an instant classic.

Bobby Raps’ long-awaited Mark album is officially available. After raising his profile nationally in the past year with production on The Weeknd‘s Starboy and the Hamburger Helper mixtape, the longtime local favorite may have dropped his magnum opus.

Initially announced quite a while ago, with some fans claiming they’ve been waiting “two years” for a Bobby Raps full-length, Mark was only given only a week’s notice for its release date. Along with tremendouslocalsupport, Mark‘s availability on streaming platforms has also resulted in an avalanche of “you have a new fan” tweets.

You can catch Bobby Raps performing tracks from Mark live on July 30 at our Big Fancy Go Show alongside Wiz Khalifa, Vince Staples, Blackbear, Mac Irv, Finding Novyon and more.

JAY-Z dropped three tracks that didn’t make the final cut of his 4:44 album, and daughter Blue Ivy is 2017’s next rapper to watch through her freestyle.

– Additionally, New Music Friday this week gives us a new EP from DJ Shadow with Nas and Danny Brown, as well as new albums from 21 Savage and Twista.

Year of the Migos continues with Quavo popping up on a new version of Young Thug‘s “You Said.”

– One of our favorite XXL Freshmen hit us with a new video as Kamaiyah dropped the epicBuild You Up.”
