Breaking Jay-Z and Kanye’s previous record, Travis Scott performed “Goosebumps” 14 consecutive times in concert.
While it’s recommended to see a doctor if you experience prolonged goosebumps for no particular reason, Travis Scott’s recent extended “Goosebumps” performance had a very specific purpose as the Houston rapper’s Oklahoma City show saw him close out the night by performing “Goosebumps” 14 straight times.
The previous record was held by Jay-Z and Kanye West who would famously close out their Watch the Throne tour with multiple performances of their song “N****s in Paris,” culminating in a Paris show getting the song 12 times. Given that Oklahoma City is the Paris of Oklahoma, Scott’s choice of location was a perfect one.
In honor of this tremendous feat, we’re now referring to any items that arrive in groups of 14 as a “Travis Scott Dozen.” If 14 straight “Goosebumps” performances still isn’t enough Travis Scott for you, check out the three new songs he dropped earlier this week.
– Desiigner, The Rock and David Hasselhoff are finally on the same track, Logan Paul‘s tongue-in-cheek “Song of the Summer.”
– DJ Paul revealed his Academy Award-winning group Three-6 Mafia have a forthcoming biopic in the works.
– David Banner has teamed-up with CeeLo Green and Raheem Devaughn for “Magnolia.”
– Korean battle-rapper and Project Blowed veteran Dumbfoundead announced he’s dropping a new project on May 23.
