Pride month ends with a powerful bang as chart-topping juggernaut Lil Nas X has confirmed that he’s a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Coming out via Twitter, insinuating he’s had it hidden in plain sight, the news has been met with universal acceptance and celebration.

The revelation happens to coincide with Lil Nas X breaking the record for longest running hip-hop #1 with its 13th week at the top, outperforming Eminem‘s “Lose Yourself,” Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris‘ “Yeah,” Black Eyed Peas‘ “Boom Boom Pow” and Wiz Khalifa‘s “See You Again.”
