One of the most iconic MTV moments of all time was Nirvana‘s legendary 1993 MTV Unplugged performance. The final televised public concert of Kurt Cobain, it was released as an album in November 1994 and has been seen by many as both the band’s definitive statement as well as a rite of passage for all alternative music fans.

The landmark performance is getting a special 25th anniversary vinyl re-release, and will additionally make available the never-bef0re-on-vinyl pre-show rehearsal takes, allowing for an even more intimate performance.
