Today President Barack Obama revealed his annual list of his favorite music, movies and books of the year. Always an interesting read, as expected there was a substantial amount of hip-hop on the list, including selections from Obama’s pals JAY-Z, Chance the Rapper and Janelle Monáe.

It’s also worth noting that Obama included Black Panther, whose music was overseen by buddy Kendrick Lamar, on the list of his favorite films.
