There’s no better way to start your weekend than with new Cam’ron. Killa Cam already gave us one of the year’s best with his take on Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” and he’s back with another brilliant Cam transformation, as he turns Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” into “Dime After Dime.”
Detailing his past career endeavors, the clip was shot on location and looks tremendous. Not just a gimmicky track, Cam paints an incredible picture as Sen City‘s vocals blend into the tapestry tremendously.
It’s not the first time Lauper’s been channeled into the rap realm. About two decades ago, No Limit Records‘ dynamic twin duo Kane & Abel had one of the label’s biggest hits with the Master P-assisted “Time After Time.”
– SZA has a new track, “Quicksand,” from the soundtrack to HBO‘s Insecure.
– Kevin Gates has announced a new mixtape on the way.
– Out of nowhere we also have an incoming upcoming DOOM and Westside Gunn project as well.
