In her latest money move, rapper and our favorite person Cardi B is starring in what may be this weekend’s most star-studded Super Bowl commercial. Following the premise of “Who does Amazon get to fill in when Alexa loses her voice?” we get a double-dose of Cardi B giving us the guidance in life we deserve.
Starring alongside Cardi are Gordon Ramsey, Rebel Wilson and Anthony Hopkins. All things considered, Cardi might be the most helpful of the bunch. Cardi herself seems thrilled about the spot, going as far as to tweet “Just call me Balexa!”
This commercial is just one of the many gifts Cardi B has given to the world this week. Controversial YouTuber and social media knucklehead Logan Paul left a self-serving comment on Cardi’s Instagram which effectively undid any traction that his recent “apologies” were meant to convey. Luckily, Cardi’s fans were swift in their judgement, and Paul and is being deliciously dragged for his crimes.
You’ll be able to catch Cardi B live several times over Big Game Weekend (which coincidentally coincides with the Super Bowl this year) as she’ll be making appearances at both Privé and Twin Cities Live.
– In further Super Bowl ad insanity, here’s beloved actors Peter Dinklage and Morgan Freeman rapping classic verses from Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot, respectively, in the name of new Doritos and Mountain Dew.
– Your prayers have been answered as Bad Boys III (Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunion!) is reportedly already beginning production.
– Hip-hop purists are about to glow as DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9 have unveiled the first single and cover art from PRhyme 2.
– #ShutUpAndRap alumni and battle rap favorite OKNice just dropped a very dope new stop-motion video for his track “GotDang.”
