Two of the most influential and inescapable names in rap this decade, Future and Chance the Rapper‘s very different styles always seem to somehow go great together. Then you add a dash of King Louie to the mix, and you have their brand new track “My Peak.”
A poor-quality snippet of the track has been traded between Future and Chance fans since excerpts from their studio sessions found their way on to social media. One of the most anticipated and sought-after tracks of the year, “My Peak” delivers as an emotive tracks that’s exciting enough to be energizing and confident enough to be calming at the same time.
It’s Chance and Future’s first collaboration since 2016’s “Smoke Break.” “My Peak” is rumored to be for Future’s forthcoming Superfly soundtrack, but that’s purely speculation at this point.
– In other Kingly news, King Los just dropped his take on Nas‘ “Made You Look.”
– As heard on WWE Monday Night Raw last night, Wale has dropped a new surprise EP named Self Promotion.
– Across the pond favorite Skepta is back with his new track “Pure Water.”
– We finally have a rapper dropping their own fighting game flip on Nicki Minaj‘s “Chun Li” as Dipset‘s Juelz Santana comes through with (the misspelled) “Lui Kang.”
