The Jimmy Kimmel Live! outdoor concert series featured G-Eazy joined by Halsey for their collaboration “Him & I.” (He will be in the Twin Cities as part of his upcoming tour on March 8 at Roy Wilkins Auditorium.)
While it was primarily meant to be a star vehicle for G-Eazy’s new album, The Beautiful and the Damned, Halsey effortlessly commanded attention throughout the performance. Her perfect subtle pantomime to G-Eazy’s lyrics made the fireworks only the second-biggest shine on the stage.
G-Eazy also performed his biggest 2017 hit “No Limit.” The lack of Cardi B was noticeable, but it was still a strong way for him to end the year. If this isn’t enough G-Eazy for you, today he dropped a new remix of “No Limit” with A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Juicy J and Belly.
– Kendrick Lamar’s dad shared a fun “Duckworth” story about how fast food may have saved Kendrick’s life.
– Just a few days away from Revival, rapper PHresher gives some inside info on the album and working with Eminem.
– In the only collaboration more surprising than U2 and Kendrick Lamar, today DRAM and Neil Young dropped “Campfire” from the Bright soundtrack.
– Finally, your favorite new American boy band is poised to close the year strong as Brockhampton give us their forthcoming new album’s first single “Boogie.”
