For all the jewelry and designer brands he wears, nothing looks better on rapper Gucci Mane than wedded bliss. After two successful albums this year alone and the announcement of a new line of Reeboks, Gucci is topping his 2017 with the biggest wedding of the year to model/actress Keyshia Ka’oir.
Of course, the wedding took place on October 17, which is 10-17, Gucci’s personal 1017 Brick Squad holiday. Always the innovator, Gucci did away with the “only the bride can wear white” rule and had the entire wedding party decked out in whites that were pure as the driven snow. According to Ka’oir, even the camera crew were head-to-toe in white.
The ceremony, which was broadcast live on BET, was dubbed The Mane Event and featured appearances by 2 Chainz, Diddy, Lil Yachty, Jhene Aiko and Big Sean. The couple was reportedly paid $650,000 for the broadcast, and the nuptials can be seen here.
– SZA dipped across the pond to perform “Normal Girl” on Later with Jools Holland.
– Wu-Tang Clan return to the hood for their new throwback video “If Time Is Money / Hood Go Bang.”
– Wyclef Jean also has a new video, this one is for Carnival III‘s “Turn Me Good.”
– Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper and DJ Khaled were hooked-up with a few BET Soul Train Award nominations, including five for “Wild Thoughts.”
