Never say that JAY-Z isn’t a positive role model for the youth of tomorrow. In a moment of genuine positivity, last night JAY-Z stopped the show in the middle of his 4:44 Tour’s Cleveland stop last night to send a special word of encouragement to a young fan.
Jigga spoke to the girl, sharing with her this piece of topical wisdom:
“You can be anything you want to be in this world, OK? Let me tell you something, at this very moment America is way more sexist than they are racist, but you young lady, you got the potential to be the next president of the United States, you believe that? You understand?”
After that, the young girl and JAY counted down from ten together as JAY exploded the Quicken Loans Arena with his 2011 track “N****s in Paris.”
It’s been a busy week of motivation and social awareness for JAY as, just yesterday, he penned an op-ed for the New York Times on the present day criminal justice system.
– Looks like Kendrick Lamar is on the cover of Variety, and he makes it look sexy.
– In a glimpse of a money move, Cardi B previewed new music on Instagram.
– Footage has finally surface of Action Bronson closing New York’s famed Webster Hall venue, smashing a guitar and riding into the sunset.
– Just in time for the holidays – and his 47th birthday, A Tribe Called Quest has unveiled new Phife Dawg merchandise.
