It’s always great to see hip-hop represented on late night network television, and when MCs pop up on NBC’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, you get the added bonus of their production fleshed out by the legendary Roots crew.

Last night The Roots’ fellow Philly-native Meek Mill returned to the Fallon stage, joined by PnB Rock and Jeremih for “Dangerous.” Mill also spoke to Fallon about his endeavors pushing for criminal justice reform and his forthcoming JAY-Z produced six part documentary.

– Responding to Eminem‘s recent disses, Joe Budden took to his podcast couch to yell that he’s been “better” than Em “for a decade.”

– Three months after the diss records that shook the summer, Kanye West apologized to Drake and largely attempts to distance himself from all responsibility.

– In today’s “oh cool, that artist likes this artist” moment, Ariana Grande covered Thundercat‘s “Them Changes.”

– Today also brings us a new Wu-banger as Ghostface Killah teams up with Kxng Crooked, Benny the Butcher and .38 Spesh for “Buckingham Palace.”
