In the proud tradition of Gumby and The California Raisins comes the latest Russ video for “Cherry Hill.” Having fun with stop-motion animation, the clip features Russ showing us what it feels like to be enamored with a new love, or writing a song about them – both are pretty intertwined as part of the video’s charm. Not since Tool has their been so many questions from a frame-by-frame video production.
“Cherry Hill” comes from Russ’s platinum debut There’s Really A Wolf. The Kid Super directed clip eludes to other elements of the album throughout, giving plenty of Easter Eggs for longtime Russ fans.
Fans hoping to catch Russ live in the clay…er…flesh will be able to do so soon as he’s bringing his I See You tour to Soundset on May 27.
