We’re rapidly approaching the one year anniversary of SZA‘s Ctrl, but that doesn’t mean the lush visuals emerging from the project will be stopping any time soon. Today we feast our eyes on the intoxicating “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” and wow is it a treat.

Featuring my NYU roommate Donald Glover/Childish Gambino, as well as SZA’s Mom, the Karena Evans-directed clip is the latest in 2018 visual bangers from the talented filmmaker. You may not be aware, but Evans also directed Drake‘s “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What.” She’s also only 22-years-old.

No word yet on when we can expect new music from SZA. She appeared last week on the new Towkio song, but, other than her contributions to Black Panther, has been fairly radio silent. Hopefully this means she putting the finishing touches on something and we’ll have some gold soon.

– Contrary to earlier reports, Meek Mill will NOT be visiting The White House.

– In preparation of this weekend, Khalid and Normani are practicing hard for their “Love Lies” performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

Russ and Scott Storch are reunited and it feel so good on “Back to Life“.

New Music Friday bring us the anticipated debut album from Kyle.
