A radiant week for hip-hop on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as Year of the Migos II, continued last night when Tinashe took the stage with Offset to perform her latest single “No Drama.” Backed by a bevy of dancers – who are on the absolute forefront of umbrella-centric choreography, Tinashe seemed to absolutely floor Fallon with the show-stopping performance.
Tinashe’s wildly-delayed sophomore album Joyride finally hits streaming services and store shelves today. Arriving ,ore than a year after being the talk of SXSW 2017, the Tinashe singles released since Joyride‘s announcement, most notably 2016’s “Ride of Your Life” and 2017’s “Flame,” aren’t present on the new project. Instead we have a refined, focused Tinashe returning to the interests and aims of her earlier work.
While Tinashe’s similarly-delayed Joyride World Tour has still yet to be rescheduled, this stellar live performance is hopefully a sign we can see her on-stage soon.
