As Young Thug‘s MTV Video Music Award for last year’s “Wyclef Jean” proved, he doesn’t even need to show up to a video shoot for it to be a smash. When Thugger does appear on the set, giddyap! Young Thug wants to be a cowboy, baby, in his new clip for “Family Don’t Matter.”

In the clip, Young Thug plays an old soul as he wooes a lovely lady through a horse and carriage ride and private barn dinner with a cozy performance from London singer Millie Go Lightly. The visuals match the twang of the track as Thugger weaves his signature melodies through the acoustic grooves.

It’s a big week for Thugger as today also sees the release of his wonderfully titled Super Slimey mixtape with Future. The surprise project blindsided fans and dropped at midnight, with an appropriately Halloween-themed cover of a snake sliding through a falcon skull sculpture.

– New Music Friday also brings us new projects from Blu & Exile, Stalley, Earthgang and Conway

Smoke DZA continues to light up freestyles for each stop on his tour with “The Barksdale Code.”

Big K.R.I.T is hooking you up with another new track, “Aux Cord.”

Cam’Ron and blackbear are together at last on “Bright Pink Timbs.”
