Marshmello and Bastille‘s “Happier” is the hit that keeps on giving! The bittersweet track’s sunny vibes made for the perfect wake-up call this morning when the two artists appeared together on Good Morning America on ABC.

Bastille frontman Dan Smith embraced the single’s hippie-themed cover art by sporting an acid-washed, tye-die hoodie that would have made Slater from Dazed and Confused jealous.

In addition to a rousing performance, the two also did an interview with GMA‘s Ginger Zee backstage before the show went live. Naturally, Dan Smith did most of the heavy lifting when it came to the question-and-answer portion.
