Imagine Dragons are so big at this point that they don’t release singles so much as they release brand-partnerships with musical accompaniments. After handing over “Natural” to ESPN for use in their NCAA football coverage, Dan Reynolds and co. are teaming up with the Big Mouse to release “Zero.”
The song is set to be featured in an upcoming sequel to Wreck it Ralph called Ralph Breaks the Internet, and the accompanying lyric video contains plenty of Disney flair. With a sunny pop hook reminiscent of Michael Franti’s “Say Hey I Love You,” the new track’s lyrics represent a typical Imagine Dragons underdog story.
