Our dream collaboration has finally come to fruition gang: Panic! at the Disco have made their debut on Ellen, and all is right in the world. Showcasing his new album Pray for the Wicked to a daytime TV audience with extreme prejudice, Brendon Urie featured his kung-fu choreography skills with a performance that picked up where the “Say Amen” video left off.

Joining in a grand tradition of performers like Chance the Rapper and N.E.R.D. making high-concept, thoroughly choreographed musical performances on Ellen Degeneres’ eponymous talkshow, Panic! kicked things off with Urie entering backstage before quickly being beset by assailants disguised as crew members.

Compared to the gory “Say Amen” video, Urie’s action-star moves were nerfed significantly to fit into Ellen‘s squeaky-clean format. Somehow, the singer manages to dispatch a whole crowd of would-be assassins with a few judo throws, a vase, and the pure sonic power of his impressive pipes, without spilling a single drop of blood. Now that’s talent!

Portugal. The Man’s John Greely rocked a “Best Daddy” pin during the band’s performance on Corden last night.

– Jesus, somebody keep an eye on Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters, because the poor dude almost broke his leg onstage again.

– Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto of Thirty Seconds to Mars showed up to yesterday’s Met Gala with some truly epic looks.

“See you on the dark side”…of the moon? It looks like avant-pop artist Grimes and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk are dating.
