British hypemonsters The 1975 have returned with a new video treatment for their iconoclastic single “Love It If We Made It” from the band’s forthcoming LP A Brief Enquiry Into Online Relationships.

Featuring a psychedelic wash of colors, shadows, and found footage depicting the song’s numerous name-drops and pop-culture references, the “Love It” video certainly illustrates some of the song’s political themes.

The 1975 also were featured in a big profile in today’s New York Times that heralds their efforts to “drag rock into the future,” and mentions that the band will be releasing another new single from Enquiry on Thursday. Keep it locked on and Go 96.3 for your first taste!

– Speaking of big NYT profiles, congrats to the boys from Twenty One Pilots for getting the same treatment!

– Lauren Mayberry from CHVRCHES joined the boys from The National onstage at Austin City Limits.

– Smashing Pumpkins released a new video for “Silvery Sometimes (Ghost).”

– Arctic Monkeys have put together another short film in honor of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino called Warp Speed Chic.
