Some fools wondered how Weezer could possibly top last summer’s feat of of covering Toto‘s “Africa” with assistance from the legendary band’s keyboardist Steve Porcaro.

Well, ye of little faith, prepare to eat crow. Last night, Weezer hopped on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! to perform their cover of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” with Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith of Tears for Fears. It was GLORIOUS!

The performance on Kimmel was a nod to Weezer’s Coachella set last weekend, in which both Tears for Fears and Chili from TLC guest-performed on the band’s respective covers of their material. You can find both covers on Weezer’s self-titled Teal Album.
