Iconic rock mag Rolling Stone issued its year-end best-of lists late last week and, in a stroke of good fortune, THREE Minnesota stand-bys were featured!

Shocking nobody, legendary Minneapolis rock club First Avenue was featured with top honors in Rolling Stone‘s list of The Best Live Music Venues in America along with other iconic venues like The Hollywood Bowl, and Red Rocks in Colorado.

Minneapolis’ old faithful record store The Electric Fetus also got the nod as one of the Ten Best Record Stores in America, a completely justified ranking if you ask us, or Go 95.3’s DJ Bonics.

Finally, Rolling Stone honored Paisley Park as one of America’s Best Musical Landmarks. The ranking serves as a lovely tribute to our dearly departed local icon Prince, and the hard work his estate has done to convert the former home into a museum honoring Prince’s legacy.
