South Minneapolis rapper Drelli has released a music video for “Chiquita.”

This visual comes two months after the SwagBop originator dropped the catchy, Blanda-produced single that has racked up almost 50,000 plays on SoundCloud.

“Chiquita” is a short and sweet song that is laced with Latin flavor. The rhythm makes it hard not to get up and dance to, and the video is packed full of moves to mimic.

In the video, two kids race home from school to play a tennis-themed Nintendo 64 game called “Chiquita.” The hilarious, high-energy video includes a gorilla, close-ups of Drelli’s feet and too many tennis balls to count.

The vibrant visual was directed by local teen filmmaker Gabe Hostetler of Young Vision Films. And the crafty, hip-hop and Latin-inspired choreography was also a local effort done by John Mark. Last year, Mark choreographed for many local and national acts, including Weird Al Yankovic, Lizzo, Big Cats, and Har Mar Superstar.

After one watch, you’ll probably find yourself repeating the So Cold artist’s clever lines like, “Imma ball like a Kendama, only pass me the Sriracha.”
