In one of the more bizarre hip-hop crossovers this year – and that’s really saying something considering this year is 2018, this week The Late Show with Stephen Colbert brought together the worlds of The Wu-Tang Clan and Politics as Method Man, Ghostface Killah and former FBI director James Comey shared a photo-op and a plan.

While Comey was on the show to promote his new book A Higher Loyalty, Meth and Ghost popped by to interrogate recurring Late Show character “Cookie Jeff Sessions,” a Keebler E.L.-Fudge cookie representation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions voiced by Colbert. In the skit, the two Wu-Tang originals want to get their hands back on the elusive one-of-a-kind Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album, once purchased for over a million dollars by disgraced pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli, and now seized by the federal government.

It’s surreal to see two Wu-Tang swordsmen in the same Instagram photo as the smiling former head of the FBI, but that’s pretty much 2018 in one image.
